Ann Wells created the Harlem Supper club in 1938, and the club closed in 1982. This restaurant was credited as the first ever to make the most legendary, delicious combo, Chicken and Waffles.
Her restaurant opened with only three booths and five stools, and closed with two hundred and fifty booths.
