Ashbell McElveen

McElveen is the founder and CEO of the James Hemings Society, which is dedicated to remembering, preserving, and upholding African American contributions to American food and drink. From Sumpter, South Carolina, McElveen was interested in food at an early age and later studied at La Sorbonne.
