Cleora Butler

Tusla, Oklahoma | 1919-Present

In 1961 Cleora Butler opened a pastry shop called Cleora's Pastry Shop, but closed it 5 years later due to her husbands sickness. Some of Cleora's specialties were sourdough bread and baked fudge! In 1986 her first and only book was published. Cleora was born in 1901 and died in 1985.
Cleora's book was also published 1 year after her death. Cleora learned most of her cooking from her mother Martha Thomas. In addition to once owning a bakery she was also offered a job working for Charles Robertson.
