George Washington Carver

1819-1918

George Washington Carver was a person who found many uses for peanuts. He became the first African American to earn a bachelors degree. Carver developed 300 products from peanuts and 118 from sweet potatoes. When he was born he was an enslaved person around 1864 in Missouri.
