Henry Blair

1819-1918

Henry Blair is an American inventor and he designed and patented corn and cotton planters. He was born in Glen, Maryland. He was also a farmer and died in 1860. He harvested crops, such as corn. He first invented the seed planter, patented in October 14, 1834. It let farmers plant more corn using less labor and in a shorter amount of time.
