Lucy Jackson (Gates Family)

Lucy Jackson opened the Busy Bee Cafe in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1947. A historic dining place for Civil Rights-era activists and a Green Book entry, comfort dishes like Cajun fried chicken, neckbones, and turnip greens are still served by the Gates family, who took over in 1981.
