Chef Raymond started his career in Culinary Arts in the 8th grade With the encouragement of his A3 English teacher, and the making of his dad’s sweet potato pie for a demonstration speech.
Chef Raymond enrolled in Hickam’s class in high school from 9th to 12th grade. Upon graduation was accepted to the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New Year.graduated 1977, joined US Air Force, 1979, station in Hickam for space Hawaii where he began his love Polynesian cooking. Chef Raymond took the love Polynesian cooking with a soulful flare and began his journey a 50 years 20 year veteran. 20 year, Culinary Arts teacher, Test Kitchen Chef, Food Service, Director/executive chef For Newark Senior Center coordinating the Meals On Wheels program.
