Rodney is keeping alive the tradition of whole hog BBQ and passing the tradition down to multiple generations through his food and work opportunities. He creates some of the best BBQ in the US, along with traditional side items. He is a James Beard Foundation Award recipient.
If you ever are to visit one of the Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ locations, be sure to ask others in line where they are from. It is common for his food to draw folks from the Midwest, Northeast and West Coast to taste his delicious offerings located in the South. He is a treasure to the food culture.
