Holland is the executive chef and owner of two Brown Sugar Kitchen locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. The restaurants meld French culinary techniques with Black American cooking for a modern take on Soul food. She is the author of Brown Sugar Kitchen Cookbook and New Soul Cooking.
