Venezuela Newborn-Richardson (Vinnie)

Newborn-Richardson was the food editor at Essence Magazine for nearly 20 years. Born in Fenholloway, Florida, and raised on a small farm in Thomasville, Georgia, she wrote Cookin' the Old-Time Southern Way with Venezuela at the age of 86.
