Tony the Peanut Man sold fried, boiled, and roasted peanuts at RiverDogs minor league baseball games. For 21 years until his 2016 death, the army vet donned a woven sweetgrass hat and red bowtie, and sang his trademark jingle “Peanut Tyme” at Charleston, South Carolina, events.
