Willie Mae Seaton

New Orleans, Louisiana | 1957

Seaton was the owner of Willie Mae's Scotch House in New Orleans. She turned her 1957 beauty shop into a bar and restaurant famous for wet-battered fried chicken, smothered veal, and white beans and pork chops. Today, her great-granddaughter Kerry Seaton-Stewart runs the restaurant.
