Carter G. Woodson

1919-Present

Carter G. Woodson and the Association for the Negro Life and History led a week of celebrating the contributions of African Americans. She was offered a position cooking for the Charles Roberston family. In 1961, she opened Cleora's pastry and catering. She closed her shop when her husband became ill.
