He was born on March 17 1955 in Brooklyn,NY. He died on February 11 1998 in Princeton,NJ. He won the James Beard foundation Best Chef award and became famous for that. He had 5 children's and his wife was Lynette and was married in 1979. He lived to 42.
He went to California culinary Academy now called Le cordon bleu college of culinary arts.
