Cleora Butler

Butler launched a catering business in the 1950s. Her 1985 memoir, Cleora's Kitchen, detailed her Tulsa, Oklahoma, upbringing. She learned to cook from her mother in their home, a favorite destination for Black musicians when traveling through the segregated Southwest.
