Henry Blair

Henry Blair was a African American inventor and farmer. He was most known as the second African American to hold a patent. Henry Blair was born in Glen Ross, Maryland in 1807. Blair lived on a farm and created devices to assist harvesting crops. Henry Blair received his first patent for a corn planter.
