Matthew Raiford

Raiford is the chef and farmer at Gilliard Farms. The farm in Brunswick, Georgia, was established in 1874 by his great-great-great-grandfather, who was born enslaved. A past chef at the House of Representatives, Raiford works to preserve the agricultural techniques and heritage of his ancestors.
