Tunis Gulic Campbell

Campbell, a principal waiter at the Howard Hotel in New York, published Hotel Keepers, Head Waiters, and Housekeepers’ Guide in 1848. He joined 200 others in 1868 to create a farming and fishing community on Saint Catherine's Island, Georgia, where he served as a justice of the peace.
