Erika DuPree’

Jacksonville | 1919-Present

Erika is a culinarian and activist that has shed light on the African diaspora and the beauty grown from the seeds planted throughout the Americas, States, and the Caribbean.
Erika has been a 5 star 5 diamond chef for over 3 decades all while serving her community through goodwill and determination. She has worked in such places as the Golden Mushroom, The Peabody, Ponte Vedra In and Club, and owner of her own hotel and restaurant. She has appeared on Food Network as a judge several times and was selected as a contestant on the first installation of Too Chef Just Desserts. She created Culinary Wonders and curated chef activism in her Home cities and other places abroad. She has used her voice to bring light to disparities and triumphs in the culinary world concerning people of color and women. She is a light that will continue to lead the way to equity and delicious encounters alike and for that she is my culinary hero!!
